    Tweetdeck integration

Posted by Bob Jansen on August 21, 2008 at 1:00 pm

Some of you might know Twhirl and Twitterrific, which are very nice desktop clients for Twitter. But now there is also Tweetdeck, just like the other clients it’s using Adobe AIR. However Tweetdeck is different, it allows you to organize the people you follow into groups. This allows you to look at your Twitter timeline with more focus, which could be a boost for productivity.

In the newest version of Tweetdeck you can now use Tweetburner. Right below the box where you can compose your tweet, you can put in a longlink. Directly next to the box there is a drop down list where you can select which url shortner to use. Select Twurl to track your links with Tweetburner.

We’ve done some testing with Tweetdeck and everything is working properly.

If you’re experiencing problems, please let us know.
