    Status update for FriendFeed integration

Posted by Bob Jansen on September 6, 2008 at 4:00 pm

Here is a short update on the FriendFeed integration that’s coming next week.

As we announced yesterday, the integration is pending on the realisation of Tweetburner user accounts. Tweetburner was created around Twitter and their API, therefore it’s difficult to provide good statistics for FriendFeed links in a user friendly way.

Our beta tests are proofing FriendFeed is ready to go live. It allows you to post a Twurl to FriendFeed and track the statistics for that Twurl. The link will show up on your personalized statistics page. Currently it shows up like all other Twitter links you’ve shared. In the near future you will be able to separate the traffic to the Twurl and see the traffic details for FriendFeed and Twitter separated.

More detailed information on the FriendFeed integration will be available next week. Feel free to contact us if you have questions.
